My condolances to Phillipa and John Dove’s family, Rebecca, Steven, Michael, James and Ben. I was at St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in the 1960s with your parents and they were a lovely couple. After we qualified we lost touch rather as John was in the RAF and then a Spinal surgeon at Stoke and Phillipa was a GP and bringing up five children. We last met at our 50th anniversary after qualifying in 2018 and enjoyed meeting them and others. You will miss them terribly but you can be very proud of them as indeed I am sure they are of you.
